(Senior) Investment Manager (d/w/m)

Your new area of competences

  • Client relationship and deal management for our portfolio of Latin American for middle size companies
  • Acquisition and processing of new deals, as well as market observation in the assigned countries
  • Active Portfolio Management as well as analysing and risk-adequate structuring of deals incl. managing the internal approval process
  • Contract negotiations with clients
  • Leading the deal team throughout the whole process
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and further development of DEG's strategy Impact.Climate.Returns, i.e. actively engaging with clients on a transformation path

Your profile

  • University degree in economics, several years of relevant professional experience in financing business, preferably in impact finance
  • Special interest in and sensitivity for development policy and sustainability topics
  • Business fluent in English and Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage as well as good command of German language or willingness to learn it is also required
  • Independent and autonomous way of working; customer-, team- and target-oriented
  • High level of problem-solving skills combined with goal-oriented decision-making skills
