Investment Manager (d/f/m)

 
DEG Regional Office Bangkok is recruiting an Investment Manager for its Project Finance team to complement an existing team of professionals in the Regional Office Bangkok and to support DEG’s business development of infrastructure transaction in the region, with a particular focus on South East Asia. 

Duties and Accountabilities:

  • As a member of DEG’s project finance team to participate in structuring and negotiation of transactions, and together with DEG’s transaction teams, processing and presenting of new transactions to the Investment Committee

  • Close coordination, preparation and follow up on due diligence and other missions with DEG’s social, environmental and/or sector specialists

  • Support Portfolio Management by performance and compliance monitoring of existing clients

  • Develop a thorough understanding of different infrastructure segments in Asia, provide market intelligence and knowledge

  • Maintain project database, undertaking inquiries in database and preparing presentations

Your Profile

  • A master degree in finance or business or equivalent professional qualification

  • A minimum of 4 years relevant professional experience with a track record in project finance

  • Experience in analyzing cash flow based projects and in understanding the legal and regulatory framework of infrastructure projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Strong “deal sense” based on demonstrated credit and analytical skills and sound business judgment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team

  • Willingness to travel frequently in Asia and Germany
